Broken just enough
To feel empty inside
But still manage a smile

Hurt just enough
To have cried myself asleep
But still got up in the morning

Pain is just enough
To leave my arm burning red
But not cut

Heartbroken just enough
To find no worth in continuing
But remaining strong enough for us both

Everything just enough*
To break my spirit
To break my will
To break my faith
To ruin my happiness
To ruin me
But I keep going with a smile
To smile with the intent of joy...i have forgotten

I sit there in my garden
And watch the clouds up there
I see fairy story castles
And dragons flying there
It's all imagination
Just images in my mind
But this is my time to sit, think, write
Of the images I see
Next time you look at moving clouds
Imagine what you see
Then just let the pen take over
And write those moving images for me
Wow, now there's a challenge, just write about what you see in the ever moving, ever changing clouds

Your hands
are never too small
to carry big dreams.
Dream on.
i love the smell
of rain before downpour
and the sound of the first few raindrops
falling angry on the roof
i like to pretend its the sound of
you knocking at the door,
eager to come home
WHY
WHY DO I LOVE YOU?
WHY DO I LOVE YOU?
WHY DO I LOVE YOU?
WHY DO I LOVE YOU?
DO I LOVE YOU?
DO I LOVE YOU?
DO I LOVE YOU?
WHY DO I LOVE?
WHY LOVE?
WHY YOU?
WHY
she hadn't
felt anything
for so
long
she started
to thank people
for hurting her.
I almost wrote about you tonight.
Almost.
