Would you notice,
if the sky turned black?
Would you notice,
If all the trees cracked?

Would you notice,
If the rivers ran dry?
Would you notice,
If the lakes began to cry?

Would you notice,
if the sun was gone?
Would you notice,
if the days ran too long?

Would you notice,
if I left this place?
Would you notice,
if you stopped seeing my face?

The Romantic
The light hits my skin different
the sun would never
leave behind traces of love
I have yet to see the same artistic expression
during the day
This contrast
leaves blisters on my hands
Waking up under a spell
my feet hurt
Photographic memories of you
make love
to my soul
Full of dreary absence
and dozy
my large tears brim
Let them fall
Splash

No,
not every poem
needs to bloom
with romance
to make a heart grow
full and wise;
There is poetry
found in survival,
in unhappy endings
and goodbyes.
Not every poem
must woo the reader,
or make their yearning soar,
some poems taste
like bitter coffee grounds
and nothing much like love.

Some parts of your journey
Are only temporary
And maybe, this is one of them.

It teaches you a lesson
About losing, accepting
And at last, letting go.

It might feel heavy and dark
Yet that's where the light begins to seep in,
Slowly bringing you back home
To yourself.
Well, such is life. Imperfect, yet ours.
In the end
Light wins over dark
Love over hate
Goodness over evil
Freedom over oppression
Truth over lies
Integrity over corruption
Right over wrong
Kindness over cruelty
Healing over pain
Love is powerful energy
It can change the world
In an instant
Light up the world
With one small act
It can make a difference
Some people read my poetry
and think they know me.

Some wonder am I the romantic
I seem to be.

Is my life filled with passions,
and mystery?

Is it full of solitude,
Am I truly the lone wolf,
wandering the roads?

Am I carefree, charismatic,
mournful, spiritual, shy, decadent, tragic?

The answer is Yes, and No!

At times I've been all,
and even none of these.

Storyteller mostly, some fiction,
some reality.

And in the end you will see the me,
you want to see.

But that's ok, because,
I see you, and yes I even see me,
the same way.
Every Poem is a moment in time
and the poet changes as the moment changes.
Every poem contains some real piece of it's writer!
Even if it's Fiction!
Are toxic
Avoid them,
Some are like ads,
Skip them
Some are sugar-coated,
Too much sugar is not good,
Some are savoury snacks,
Enjoy them
