I want wings so I may fly
So, I may flea
Does the bird enjoy flight
I want wings so I may be free
So, I may see the world
But I cannot become what I am not
I would trade lives with a bird
I want wings so I may flea from my burdens
So, I may flea from what hurt me
But would running ever be enough to escape the past
To undo what has been done,
Would my past always chase me
Even if I could fly like the eagle would my past not haunt me
I want to be free of the shackles that my past has created around my feet
But even if I could fly would it be enough
Not one of my best, but I hope it means a lot to some people out there

I told the stars my pain, but they blinked in disbelief
As if the sky could not conceive a suffering so far beneath
Still their presence offerd a quiet relief

breathe
do you feel your lungs expanding?
do you feel you chest rising?
open
open your eyes
do you see the sun?
the moon?
the stars?
the clouds?
all of them were made for you
you
wonderful
       beautiful
                lovely
                                           YOU
sincerely,
someone who cares

My punishment for being kind,
too kind ,Was a curse
That I'd never know my own worth

I try to live life with this weight
But I'm falling apart
Guess it was fate
that I'd get punished for a golden heart

so here I am ,
feeling helpless,
feeling worthless

I don't write when iam happy
Joy makes me dance,not think
It fills my hands with flowers
Not pens.

But sadness?
She sits me down,
Open my chest,
And spills the ink.
you’re not down,
you’re not
out for the count.

give yourself
some room
to breathe.

i know
they’ve written
you off—

but don’t you
dare give up
now.

they haven’t
seen your best,
only your worst—

and now it’s got
you thinking
nothing

will ever
be good enough.

but none of that
matters now.

what matters
is this:

you hold
the power
to shape your fate.

so don’t you
dare give up
now.

get back up
off the ground—

don’t let them
count you out.
this one’s for the fighter who's been counted out too many times.

your story isn’t over.

your best hasn’t even begun.

There are many words I wish I’d said,
while I still had the chance,
so many things we said we would do,
but we ended with only a glance.

All the things we never said,
go round and round inside my head.
