I know
You care about me
10 more people do
Yet I can't get rid
Of this feeling
Of doom

I know
I have you
10 more people too
Yet I can't find a person
To talk to
late at night

Pretty Mistake
 Dec 2018 Emily
vinca
I know I can sulk,
as much as
I want to
as much as
I can.

So I do.

Nothing changes

It's the same pretty mistake I do,
Intentionally, foolishly.
I might wait a different outcome,
I might not think at all.
Over and over.

So I do.

Nothing changes

I know I can scream,
as helpless as
I want to
as helpless as
I can

as helpless as I am

So I don't.

Nothing changes.

It's always the same outcome
that life serves me with a grin.

I remember the evening
that we sat clinging
to paper cups
of coffee gone cold

over secrets spilled and memories told
two bodies cursed
with hearts grown old

behind your eyes
I found new worlds
A winding road stretched out for miles
to a small cafe at the end of the isle

Sweet pastries filled the mouths
of those who sat beside us
and stayed for a while.

How the hours went by,
people just passing through
The descending sun ending
a forever with you.

Other girls get
Fistfuls of tulip and
primrose,
But my love knows me
better.
Painted across skin are
All my favourite colours
Redorangeblueblackpurple-
I always get the
Prettiest blooms.
Thought of this in the bathroom brushing my teeth, thinking about the goodness in bad things.

A SPARK SET FREE

Bewitched, like I've never known before.
Swirling green pools, a  light flickering behind.
Dancing in time with the flame, entranced, enticed....

Freedom whispers sweet nothings in my ear,in dance a love set free.
I am love,I am rage,I am submission and so much more!
I am all and nothing,a flow of self.
I crumble and rise,seconds apart...Freedom from a poisoned heart.

Looking around at the forest surrounding me, tears stream from my eyes..uncontrollable cries, but not tears of sorrow or fear.
A mourning, but not one of despair.

For a life taken that night and for a birth set in it's place.
A birth full of love, beauty and grace.

Tear drop

My friend,today will soon end
It's  now or never, you'll  check the timing
A lonely tear falls down and dries on the cheek...
A friend reached out and tried to understand ..
if only the globe paused for your perfection,it would drawn in a tear lake.

Now or never!I'll  realise..
A contemplate of a teardrop,that's  all I see
It's all dry deep down your eyes, but signs still show, huh!
So many nights it dropped, trickling down, wet as the sand on the beach.A lonely heart imploded around a frown.
Tomorrow ,this will feel like yesterday's  newspaper!

Life will carry on,if you want to see your star shining,
then  check the night speed. You've  never seen the susnset..
It all felt like dawn,right?
Filled with tears,but now you'll  see it set,and that  won't be amere..I believe .
You can always find a way out!
Becca
There's  always a way  out, whether troubled or not just belive!
