Your love is as sweet as the sugar,
                   That  I've been addictively indulging,
             For so many years.

        Every piece of you,
Is just the most gratifying that I have tasted!

But when together we've been drowned with tribulations,

                                    You just gave up rapidly...

And dissolved!

Integrating and going with the flow,

                         Of those torments and allurements,

Now where are you?

You are now a part of those afflictions that drowned you,

I can still taste your sweetness,

Every time I sip through the trials,
                                That we've face,
          Resulting to weaken your knees,
    And been defeated,

I was totally in great pain,

        To know that your love,

Can be just greatly surmounted,

                            By miseries in life,

But what can I do?

                                            I fight, you relinquish,

And until then,

You just become a memory,

Of an achingly baleful chronicles of my life.

I used to make little whirlpools with my finger,
In the dark
When I was a bubble, you couldn't hear my pop
I landed back in the cold water
Bleach to sanitize, never enough
My eyes were bloodshot underwater
And I dove to the safest place
The bottom of the sea
The sea shells were never real
And neither was your face
The pressure in the trench would take my breath away
Float to me, I always screamed
But I was too busy chasing the light.

Void
The stars

In her eyes

Make me

Feel alive

She is the day

And I am the night

And when we

Both collide;

She fills the void

In my chest

With her

Illuminating light

My fate

If my fate is to love you
From a distance
Then I'll burn for you
Like a star in your night sky
Bright, steady, reliable
Unwavering
Until the end of time.

your name is
forbidden in
my mouth
or in my heart
because when
i think about
you;

i'll cry a little more,
hurt a little stronger
love a little softer
because you no longer
make me feel sober

i'm drunk on the
memory of you
if only i could chase you with pizza but shots don't work like that

what does it feel like to be held
not by another body
not by a set of limbs, a chest, a chin
but
by another soul

what does it feel like
to see truth in another pair of eyes
instead of hidden intentions
instead of absence

what does it feel like
to hear a familiar heartbeat
resounding next to your own
reaching through skin
through bone
two rhythms
indistinguishable

what does it feel like
to write poems about
a love that exists

I have never thanked you,
for the conversations.

I have never thanked you,
for the smile.

I have never thanked you,
for asking me how i'm really doing.

I have never thanked you,
for staying alive.

Thank you,
thank you.
