The Ballad of the Proud Sinner
You've got,
brown eyes like the devils liquor-
burn me slow, and i'll drink it quicker
I'll bare my throat, i'll meet your dare
So take it-
my guilt, my breath, my spine and silent prayers,
I'll burn for you, raw and loud
A sinner begging to be proud
I'd drink the devils liquor anytime with you

It Was My Own Tear
"It Was My Own Tear"
I was sitting on a bench,
Something made me drench.
There was no rain, no storm in the air,
Yet I was soaked—in silent despair.
It took me a moment, maybe a year,
To finally notice...
It was my own tear.

My First Love
I fell for the ocean,
Knowing he loves everyone.
But every wave that touched my skin
Felt like a promise—until it was done.
I watched others play in the same tide,
And smiled, pretending I was fine inside.
It was a mistake, I won’t forget...
But one I carry
With no regret.

WHEN LIFE LIVED DEATH
She is the life,
He is the death.
She was mistreated,
He held no breath.
She hoped to end,
He fought to stay.
She kissed him once—
He rose,
She slipped away.

The Idea Theif
I sat on a chair, my mind was bare,
No spark, no flame, just empty air.
A bird flew in with a cheerful tweet,
She danced a while, then made retreat.
She took my thought, my golden light,
And left me staring, blank and white.

Instructions for Falling Apart
Step 1: Smile.
Step 2: Forget why.
Step 3: Keep your voice steady
when your soul is not.
Step 4: Pretend it’s fine.
(Everyone else is.)
Step 5: Fold your feelings
into paper birds.
Set them loose.
Watch them burn mid-air.
Clap softly.
Repeat.
There is no final step.
You just keep going
until you don’t know
what breaking feels like anymore.

Clipped
Life has clipped my wings.
I fall like a rock to earth.
Waves crash into me.
