I walk along the stars
I’ve seen Jupiter and Mars
But for the life of me
Earth I will never see
For reality disapproves of those who dream
but I believe one can learn from him
If you don’t believe
Don’t leave
Just want and see
Four things he has taught me
Though life seems to only through obstacles
Never stepping stones
But what I've learned is the obstacles won't break your bones
So do your best
And ask God to help you through the rest
He'll be there to comfort you
And you can trust that through and through
Another lesson that I've learned is that dreams don't come true
Unless you want them too
So wake up early
And go to bed the same so you're not surly
And work for what you want
But keep in mind those who often flaunt
Often never have the important things in life
Things like a caring family and a loving wife
So in all your dreaming and all your working
Never forget what is most important
And that is the important rule of all

I am sure you’ve learned one must not be afraid of trying,
But you’ve also learned it comes with its share of crying

For in trying, you open up to failure
And that is quitting’s lure

I've dated sleep
She is pleasant keep around
But lately I’ve been cheating her
Or she has been cheating me
Well it does not matter who is cheating who
Though it is most likely me who has been the fool
I have covered my self with weariness to attract her
But she refuses to come to me
My eyes are open
And my mind races
But I know not why
This is not the first time
She has refused to comfort me
But every now and again she leaves for a while
And I am left to be in misery
She will come eventually
But not till early morn
Or until the sun is born

Every one wants to be someone,
But I only want to be someone to you!

If you desire to be great
Then when you create
Think about those who read
And in considering them you’ll be great indeed
For to consider another is the best of traits
