You are a looking glass
Is it me that I see?!
I feel your heart
You are a great pretender, just like I
Your face holds a familiar smile, an old friend
Someone I hold dear to me
Many a faces I have yet to know and so many I wish to know
These theatrical dimensions of you  I see
You can't hide from me

A kindred spirit
Your passions are mine
Within you are many elements of me
How can it not be destined to be?
Your heart is on your sleeve for the whole world to see
You can't hide from me

I see your darkness
Hanging like a shadow
Feeding on you insecurities
Your daemons pass through
Hauntingly, racing and pulsing, rapidly attacking blissful moments
It penetrates my soul, making me feel your  transgressions
Beautiful moments turn so quickly
Your darkness is winning , aura changing
You try to run
Do you not know,  you can't hide from me!

We try to fool one another with our intelligence.
Thinking...
I have won!
Pretending always
We are the great pretenders
All the world's a stage!
We are many
We are few
Actors of the moment
You can't keep hiding from me!

We fell from the tree
The devils children
where you hide, I find my light
I see your weaknesses
You see mine
No more hiding

I comfort you in your darkness
You have seen the pretender
I can no longer fool you with fictitious roles
The faces I hide behind have become so clear to you
You see my darkness
Within you I see my light
We can't hide, therefore we run.
