I can't wait to die
No one will care
Neither will I
Greetings, death, my dear

I yearn for your cold embrace
I wish to quietly disappear
And gaze upon your void face
Pull me in, draw me near

For I have no one
Free me from forsakeness and fear
I am all alone
Release me, death, my dear
Love doesn't come and go
like waves,
doesn't change every moment,
nor does it touch only
a part of you.

Love is the ocean –
it drowns you for good.

even I am puzzled that this phrase
did not prior
tickle my contronymic
poetic senses till now, for what is tender is of not always legal,
and what is legal is far far from
always tender
<>
tender/tenderness

gotta rank in my 10 top fav
words,
nothing transforms
swifter than an
unexpected kiss,
a hug from behind,
the light stroke of a forefinger,
brushing a tear from cheek,
an errant bang, a lock from vision interference,
All Super Legal
gracefully given,
gratefully given,
Wholly Unexpected,
and
great~fully
Accepted

The elephants graveyard
Used to be underwater
So there be whales there
A necropolis like no other
And when the seas rise again
And cover it over
Might be
An amalgamation
Of one with the other.

Willfully Ignorant
Over what’s going on
Whatever they say
You take it and run
Every iota
Not questioning once
Being willfully ignorant
To what’s going on

Willfully Ignorant
To the news of the day
Believe everything
They have to say
The channel you’re on
Has never been changed
Being willfully ignorant
To the news every day

Willfully Ignorant
To the point you don’t care
Seen majorly
As left unaware
With the shrugging of shoulders
And far off stare
Being willfully ignorant
To the point we don’t care

Willfully Ignorant
There’s no argument
Over the time
You've wrongfully spent
Under the rug
Where ideas are swept
Being willfully ignorant
You’ll get no argument

Left with what
You have
Far behind thee rest
Primeval locations
Stolen moments
Harder to
Fine what’s right
When it’s looking you
Right in thee face
Carnivals lost cites
Chaos to follow
A million shattered dreams
Rolled into one
Heads in thee clouds
Hearts on a table
The colors
Of life have varied
In and out of consciousness
Searching repeatedly
For a warmth that
Could never outrun me
And outlast all eternity
Contagious flesh
I’m far from prefect
Sins a plenty
I’ve had my fair share
They may be forgiven
Yet I’m always second guessing
Following him
There’s a heavy price to pay
But it’s well worth it
Fruit for thee soul
A reckoning
Words in a book guide
Me now
Like flying kites on a sunny day
That feeling never gets old
