Raindrop

If a raindrop
Was bigger
Than human size
What would be
Seen in its eyes
Could you step
Up to it
And go inside
Would it be
The span of
An ocean
or the size of a door
If you walked
Inside
Would you swim
Or sink to the floor
If we were its size
What would we see
Looking up
Would grasshoppers
Be giants
And clouds
Vast galaxies

Halos

A new dawn is mourning now
Time to wake        all is motionless
A cloak covers the sheep in the meadow
The fox in the hollow
The bear in its cave

It’s the end of today
The curtains close over the stage
No one ever sees the other side
When the applause fades

Sparks are felt
Belief found in not giving up
It’s just the beginning, or is it not
Tomorrow on the horizon
Waiting for sun rays

Just a few more seconds
Left to go
Don’t lose hold
Hang on

See you somewhere
After the world
Goes cold

Halos line the stretch
And light greets dark
Where sunsets
Are no more
Than once the same

Bea Autumn
Like a jeweled locket inside my chest
that's where my love for you does rest
Encased embossed upon my heart
my love for you right from the start
Your love shines as a ruby brilliant to behold
in my soul the gem I hold
Our love was foretold so long ago
                                      before the ancients of old
My heart belongs only to you
always & forever it will be true
Like perfect gems take years to evolve
Soul mates found each other resolved
A precious gem placed inside this heart
Solid as stone destined never to depart

Rollercoaster
For we have suffered ample
We aren't naive nor imbeciles.
We’ve had enough and refuse to *******.
Ultimately standing up to the oppressive regime of lawbreakers.
We do have rights, some dignity to uphold.
In these dystopian times,
Some ancient manuscript of our rights is in decay after years of mimes.
But is the mere way of upholding our laws.
The committee with Ambedkar maketh the constitution prolix yet perfect.
Let the criminals be punished,
Let the victims be given justice and
Let equity prevail.
Torture me, wound me but awareness about our rights is not going to halt.
Unfortunate are going to be those who assault,
For the victims are not the ones at fault.
Articles 14-31 testify our rights,
Taming the animal in us to stop the bleeding fights.
Simply blaming others won't do,
But it is up to us to respect each other’s dignity too.
The finest from the finest set of rules is imbibed in it.
Our godforsaken spirits rooting for justice and equality are lit.
Lit with flames of years of turmoil,
while the dominant ignored the state of our own soil.
Of what worth is an old, old paper?
Justice to the mistreated, power to powerless, equality to the oppressed and sentence to the hater.

Rollercoaster
All things work together for good,
I’m told.
Even if that work together is
silver or gold.

People tell me that I’m going crazy.
They’re just lazy,
To figure out the real issue that lies underneath.
Underneath all the perfect gloss and shining sheath.

Maybe I am going crazy- on second thought,
Even then,
It’s working together for good, I guess.
Or are my brain and heart just playing plain ol’ chess.

This is all.
I rest my case.
Cause I don’t even know what’s my home base.
Anymore.

Yet I’m in it
My heart is full
Yet I’m empty
My mind is in motion
Yet I stand still
My body is strong
Yet I am weak
What fuels a raging fire?
What makes the sea calm?
Who aches for redemption?
Who is buried below the ashes?
Fall into the abyss and find nothing

I sit in my restless consciousness
The walls of my head hit with a Dempsey roll
What is sleep for the dead
The dead do not sleep
Cold Feet
The lonesomeness of a bed unfulfilled
You’ll never reach the end
Rats on a wheel towards nothing
Why?
Judge to be Judge
It’s a death sentence for the lot of yah
Yellow Moon
The warmth is fake but the light is real
A mirror for material truth
The end of a rainbow is the final resting place

I drank the ocean,
Down to the very last drop
But I still feel empty

I stand on the sun
Blind and burning
But the shadows inside remain

I watch the stars turn
In the black of the night
And see my heart reflected
