Before it’s all over
This silent killer will pounce
On us
Like a falcon

This silent killer will throw us around
Like a lion with its prey

Then
It’ll stand over us
And watch us fall
Like stars out of the sky

And
Just when this silent killer
Think that
We about to hit
the ground to suffocate
In our own blood
And
Send us all to darkness

WE’LL TAKE FLIGHT

BECAUSE
WE SAY WE CAN

BECAUSE
THAT’S WHO
WE ARE

BECAUSE
WE WILL

BECAUSE
MY FRIENDS
WE CAN FLY

Mary Bennet
A rose in
a dandelion of water.

A fairy sleeping in
the handle of a tea cup.

Her straw hat casting
rain drop shadows.

She tosses and turns
like she’s in a hammock.

She frowns with her
aurora borealis hair.

Her dress of tv static
blows in the wind.

The tablecloth of armor
claps as you sit down.

Inspirational quotes written
in blue on the tea cup.

She has never read them.

You can’t read them either.

Sealed letters are hard to tear open
They will never be as perfect as they were before they were broken
The contents will never be revealed without crinkle or mar
Only by rough edges is how we become who we are
The only way to reach gifts unknown is to tear the seal little by little
Is that supposed to be metaphorical?
real love is not known till one suffers real pain
If it does then i don't want it and i'd like to leave the contents unnamed.
