Boys Can't Cry
Charly Nov 2024
The vault with no dial
a door with no key
swelling up, whispering
"please release me"

i'm sorry
Charly Mar 10
Hold me close to your chest,
and slit my throat

With my final gasp of air,
i'd say "i'm sorry for staining your shirt"

Charly Oct 2024
I want to be a romantic.
not a Romantic romantic,
but a romantic that can write romantically.
just a romantic
my first ever poem.

the machine, clank and clutter
create your symphony my beautiful-
bless them with your cry
magnificent screams

the beast of cogs
an amalgamation of works
screech a painful melody
harmony in my sacrifice

Long drink out, bugs masquerade round light
***** shards of glass, remind you of the night
**** box of a car, runs of hopes and dreams
Turning the **** to your apartment,
a complex of three.

Toss your keys, flick off the light
Laying in bed, reminded of the night.

A long row of beers,
followed by some shots
even longer talks,
with your mates from the lot
a final string of lies interwoven,
stretched far beyond the horizon

Sombre and silent, guilt on your mind
Falling asleep, with a long lie of fine
Call it a day and pack it up

— The End —
