I wrote a poem when I died...
Another at my birth.
A brand-new sonnet when I cried.
And again when there was mirth.

A song for my confession...
A story for my pain...
A painting for depression...
And nursery rhymes for rain.

My creations live inside my heart.
I keep them there in shame.
Yet you looked around and saw my art,
And smiled all the same.

I recently had a conversation,
With a friend of mine,
And I’m not sure how it started,
But it led to a conversation,
About what life would be like,
If we were all the same.

There’d be no creativity,
Imagination,
Difference,
We’d be clones,
Still living in primate times.

But if you think about it,
It’s kind of what communism is,
A society where everyone is equal,
Where everyone is the same.

Imagine living like that,
Like you aren’t special,
When in reality,
You are.

You are unique,
You are different,
You are you,
And never stop.

I lay in my hospital bed,
While awaiting my end,
The stabbing pain in my head,
I can no longer pretend.

It burns, it sears,
And there's a loud ring,
Inside my ears,
The voices sing.

You've got to believe me,
It's not a dream,
Not wanting to plea,
These voices scream.

I'm not insane,
I'm not crazy,
I'm feeling the pain,
I'm feeling hazy.

The walls are singing,
Piercing my drums,
I can't be living,
There's smoke in my lungs.

I freeze in my tracks,
Have they finished?
Indeed, they relax,
The song was diminished.

So, I lay in my hospital bed,
Free from the chaos stirring,
The voices finally left my head,
My mind is now blurring.

Most friends are people you can,
Do a few things together with.

And if you have a friend that,
You can do anything and everything with,

You usually end up,
Marrying them.

She was like music,
and I longed to dance.

Her heart was the beat,
and I begged for the chance.

Her words were the vocals,
and I was put in a trance.

Her smile was the melody,
and I fell in love at first glance.

Algebra, how wonderful,
Calculus, even greater,
Do you want the cons,
Now or later?

Well, I can't say I don't enjoy it,
Mathematics is interesting enough,
But it can get a tad confusing,
And pretty freaking tough.

I'm currently in math class,
How funny is that?
Yeah, not much,
But we can't exactly chat.

We can't talk, I finished the task,
So now, what do I do?
Write a poem of course,
With equations like, 73+2.

I tried my best,
A poem in class,
I hope you enjoyed,
But it doesn't mean I'll pass.
As I was writing this poem, my Math teacher looked over my shoulder and read it, he started laughing so I'm glad he enjoyed my silly little poem. I did finish it at home though, as the class ended as I wrote the third stanza.

This is an obvious one, seeing you is all I need to make a bad day good
This is an obvious one yet you still do not know.

If we were a cookie you would be the chocolate chip goodness that bring absolute bliss as it melts.
This’s is an obvious one yet you do not know,
Words I should have spoken sooner; like the first roses are red on an awkward date or the first song sang to impress, true that violets are blue

This should be obvious I cherish every moment like it’s my last because seeing you smile, is a commodity, one only a few may enjoy.

Stars twinkle and cows may jump over the moon but you smile and I’ll smile too.
This should be obvious.
