I was at twentieth crossing to twenty-first
when green lights turned baby blue.
In these places you are not
allowed to do anything
without regrets or financial plans that'll
be dismissed as Invalid.
You do not fit in like a
mulatto in these places,
For the 'dare' requests your opinions-
only to tell you how young
people like you shouldn't
be in places you live.
Nothing gets going for it's
either rocky or potholed In these places.
It's the speedy cheetahs like us
sprinting to faint in these places.
Places turning self-proclaimed lions into puppies;
Laughter Is a jewel and loyalty
becomes rare like everything else In these places.
You get to understand the materialisticness
of life In these places.
For those that you go with
will threaten to leave you In these places.
...This Is the best poem I ever wrote
He does not see or hear her since the war
A massacre an apology cannot erase
His consumption to cannabis stubs
And get-high quick remedies
It's been said the children are not his
what then has he to fight for?
These are the consequences of home wars usually.I just wrote this poem based on experience. What do you think of my poetry guys?
Hunting in exotic lands
Today we made an encounter
To never go home she cheerfully vowed
To never ever think of her children's athirstness
To deprive them life and never send anything
To replace them with foreign fruits of her never tiring womb
She has decided to make her legs
'her' source of provisions......
I concluded.
I just met a fellow Zimbabwean today who left her children back at home with hunger and now she is not even concerned drinking and having fun with men in Lesotho...is that fair? WHAT'S YOUR TAKE ON THIS?
He made butter fly
And turned dragons to flies!
This is just a pun of the words dragonfly and butterfly! Please give me a feedback people what's your take on this type of poetry.Worth the art or not?
I heard you say you are an expert at selling anything
Even your body?
Just thought of this today when It dawned on me how much people crave for money and are willing to do anything for it.
In his  fight-night presence
and
In his affectionless absence.
