the hardest truths are the simplest
but most difficult to understand
When I fail
( because we all do )
will you
be there?
( because you always have been )

never to see you
and forever to be
the one who
is in your debt
and yet
you are in everything
I do,

and I wonder if
Amen is
gender-fluid.
Breathing in,
and letting go.
My breath fogs up the window.

A lone stick man,
drawn inside.
No one else at his side.

A child smiles,
beyond the glass.
My gaze here cannot last.

The cold air,
oh how it burns.
I long to be eaten by the worms.
you lay in your bed
regardless of whether or
not you make it first
a little coffee shop thought i had today. id love to polish it up and make it into a nicer short poem/not a haiku, but the concept really resonated with me.
I keep the long night; it’s lonely now.
I know you won’t return; but the watch I keep.
I stare past my reflection in the window. I know;
Your not there and you won’t be but still;
The watch I keep.

I gave you a piece of me; you took it with you.
I’ll never get it back; but still the watch I keep.
I hope you’re well and you find what you seek.
I’ll be here. The watch I’ll keep

The lion is
Fierce but the
Lioness is
So much more.
I stumbled upon you
Like a child
that finds a pretty stone

Bewildered by your presence
I sat and admired
Counting your cracks
Caressing what makes you glitter

You stood infront of me
Bold and beautiful
Like nothing I'd ever seen

And as you gave me your attention
I think I misconstrued your intentions

I wanted to put you in my pocket
But you said no

So there you sit
Perfectly unpolished
A love

for he transmuted my darkness into light
