You have become the monster you once hated
An entire community, have you almost destroyed
At will, do you bomb schools and hospitals
And when the natives resist, you call them "terrorists"
You starve nearly the entire population
Truly, are you an evil nation!

You have become the monster you once hated
Forcing thousands of people to get amputated
Without even the basic facility of anaesthesia
Do you feel remorse, even an iota?
Seriously, are you no better than those Nazis
Lining up people after people in concentration camps
Having a nice little laugh after committing mass slaughter
YOU are the very DEFINITION of TERROR!!

You have become the monster you once hated
To the core, are you perverted
Sexually harassing and ****** your female prisoners
Making an absolute mockery of justice
Murdering children and babies in cold blood
In you, is there absolutely no good!!

You have become the monster you once hated
Well, now get ready to be hated
By all the decent people in this rather cruel and uncaring world
Your lies will no longer do you any good
Because, the LORD is NOT on YOUR side
After all, you are in bed
With none other than SATAN
Trust me, evil will never win
Therefore, only a matter of time it is
Before your immoral reign finally ends!!
My latest poem denouncing the evil actions of Israel towards the beleaguered Palestinians.

Evil Runs In Your Blood
Ashwin Kumar Mar 31
Evil runs in your blood
You people are carrying out a genocide
And calling it a war
You are fully aware
That what you are doing is completely wrong
Yet, you deny almost everything
Do you even hear yourselves?
You have taken countless innocent lives
And on top of it, do you justify your actions
You deserve so much worse
Than even the ***** and Gomorrah horrors!

Evil runs in your blood
Your hearts are so cold
That even Antarctica cannot hold a candle to them
I am trying my best to stay calm
However, with every single day that passes
My blood just boils and boils
Hell, you people are not Nazis
In fact, you are a thousand times worse than the Nazis!!

Evil runs in your blood
You are ruining the entire world
Leading us towards death and destruction
Moreover, have you made it a fashion
To throw a number of baseless accusations
In order to defend your utterly reprehensible actions
Well, eventually will come the time
When your so-called democracy is headed towards doom
Because, ultimately, never can evil win
Long Live Palestine!!
My latest poem on the ongoing genocide of the Palestinians; which of course, condemns Israel's evil actions.
Ashwin Kumar May 6
You are the living embodiment of Satan
Never, have you left innocent people alone
Genocide runs in your very blood
You people bomb civilians as per your mood
For all the acts of evil you have committed
You deserve to be severely punished!

You are the living embodiment of Satan
Your very presence is a bane
To the world at large
I simply cannot contain my rage
Day by day, my blood boils
As I read the news
How can you people even live with yourselves
After obliterating countless schools and hospitals
Nearly erasing entire communities in the process?

You are the living embodiment of Satan
Because, you simply cannot be called human
By any yardstick in the world
In you, is there absolutely nothing good
Hell, you put even **** Germany to shame
This seriously is the time
When the entire world needs to boycott your nation
Assuming, of course, that it can even be CALLED a nation!!

You are the living embodiment of Satan
After the Holocaust, everybody said "Never again!"
Where is that cry now?
Instead, almost all are crying "Bow Bow"
Because, you create fear in the minds of people
By using the Holocaust as a weapon
For your own political gain
Really, is there no level
To which your so-called country cannot sink?
You draw an absolute blank
When it comes to human rights
Not to mention, basic goodness!!

You are the living embodiment of Satan
And to God, an absolute abomination
You may think what you are doing is right
And show your might
However, one fine day, will you be brought to ruin
Then, will you be all alone
Because, you refused to be human!!
My latest poem on the genocide of Palestinians - directed towards the so-called Jewish state of Israel.
Ashwin Kumar Mar 2020
Day by day
I am falling apart
Sinking to new lows
My world crashing around me
I may be thirty years old
But at heart, I am a child
A lost child, seeking reassurance
Seeking sanity, in this insane mess
Seeking happiness, in this tragic story
Seeking an escape, from this hideous cage
After all, what have I done
To deserve this terrible fate?
I did not ask, to bear this burden
On my already weary shoulders
It is quite easy to say
That I will soon be fine
That it is only a matter of time
But, how can I right the wrongs
That I have done
Over the last few hours
In my anger, panic and desperation?
Whether it be shouting at my family
Or breaking my phone screen?
Of course, I can start afresh
My love for my family is real
Irrespective of a few spats
Triggered by being cooped up
In a small house, for two days
After all, these are mad times
You cannot eat at a restaurant
You cannot watch a movie
You cannot attend a poetry event
You cannot even go to a park
But, how long can one remain inside?
In the absence of fresh air
The mind tends to become stale
And therefore prone to meltdowns
Can you then seriously blame me
For flipping out, as I did?
Of course, it is easy to say
That I should be more mature
Given my present age
But then, autism affects you
Irrespective of your age
Anyway, the fight is on
The virus may **** us physically
But it is upto us, to ensure
That it does not **** us mentally
Of course, we have to take a few blows
It is certainly not an easy battle
However, as they say
It is better to try and fail
Than to give up right away
Therefore, whether we win or lose
We will not go down without a fight!!
Poem dedicated to fighting the novel Corona virus.

Thank you for being such a good friend
We have a really beautiful bond
A very supportive colleague, you were
Though sometimes, did you sound like a teacher
Understood me, did you, like almost no other
Hence, to me, are you quite dear!

Thank you for being such a good friend
Seldom, are you not kind
I so love your brutal honesty
In you, is there many a good quality
No wonder, are you such a good wife and mother
Vivek and you are an extremely sweet pair!!

Thank you for being such a good friend
Being at your home pleases me to no end
Truly, do I love your children
I forget all my pain
Whenever I think of them
Sure am I, that they would make you beam
Nearly all the time!!

Thank you for being such a good friend
Even after we both grow old
Will things remain the same
Well, hopefully soon should I visit your home
Have fun, take care and keep smiling
May Jesus bless you with anything and everything!!
Dedicated to Rene, a close friend and colleague of mine in my first job.

You people deserve not, any support
You do not even possess a heart
Your aim? destroy the world
My blood runs cold
On hearing about your actions
You'll ensure there's no peace!

You people deserve not, any support
Your actions mirror many a terrorist
No understatement, to call you evil
And you've the gall
To dictate terms to us
Is there any end to your avarice?

You people deserve not, any support
Those whom you claim to support
Are better off without your interference
You've wrecked so many nations
Killed millions of innocents
In you, lies not an iota of goodness!!

You people deserve not, any support
Destroyed have you, all trust
Have you any remorse
For your dastardly crimes
Or is it too much to expect?

You people deserve not, any support
In fact, you'll face our boycott
We play not, by your rules
And will put an end to this
So, back off and lay down your weapons
Resolve issues through dialogues
In check, must be your tempers
We DO NOT WANT WAR
We want NOBODY to SUFFER
So, please please STOP this MADNESS
For the sake of the ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!
As a World War III potentially looms, here is my message to US, Israel and their allies.

Dear Sahana, belated birthday wishes
You are a very dear niece
Of you, am I greatly fond
We share a lovely little bond!

Dear Sahana, belated birthday wishes
With you, have I had fun always
Yes, sometimes can you be a tricky customer
But on the whole, you are such a dear!!

Dear Sahana, belated birthday wishes
I so love our games
Even if I end up losing all of them
Somehow, do you manage to make me beam!!

Dear Sahana, belated birthday wishes
Hope you had one of your best days
Your Dad is an amazing brother
And your Mom is a sweet sister!!

Dear Sahana, belated birthday wishes
Wish you loads of fun, love, happiness and peace
May all your deepest desires come true
And may the Lord bless you
So, hope to see you soon
And may you forever shine like the beautiful Moon!!
Dedicated to Sahana, the daughter of one of my dearest cousin brothers Gautham; for her birthday yesterday.
People dying, one by one
Men, women and children
Waiting in an endless line
For their basic needs
Only to be brutally gunned down
A vicious cycle of never-ending violence
Against thousands and thousands of innocents!

First, you steal their land
Now, even their food
When they fight back, it's "terrorism"
Well, is your Zionism not terrorism?

Call us anti-Semitic, we don't care
After committing mass ******
You've the nerve to point fingers
At the hapless survivors
Denying them even air to breathe
And throwing around the term "terrorist"
When your own State sponsors terrorism
And destroys humanism
You're not **** Germany
You're far worse than **** Germany!!

You cowards **** babies
**** your own female soldiers
Call your country a "democracy"
When it is nothing but an autocracy
And finally, use the Holocaust as a political weapon
You're not at all human
And deserve divine retribution!!

Remember, good always wins over evil
Sooner than later, will your State fall
And from The River To The Sea
Palestine Will Be Free!!
My latest message to the so-called democratic State of Israel, in the wake of the continuing genocide of the Palestinians.
Many a mistake, I've made
But that need not necessarily be bad
Because, a lot I've learned
Whenever I've failed
I feel I can handle anything
And need to fear nothing
Because, I've seen the worst
Though I'm yet to see the best!

Many a mistake, I've made
To my struggles, you'll see no end
Often, do I trip and fall
In my court, never is the ball
But I'm slowly improving
My personality is developing
Yes, I haven't tasted success
But I'm certainly a work in progress!!

Many a mistake, I've made
But I know I'll come good
Only a matter of time
Please, give not a ****
About my past failures
See my improvements
Big and small
I rise after every fall!!

Many a mistake, I've made
But the world won't end
After all, life is up and down
And I'm definitely not alone
We all make mistakes
In fact, that's the best path to success
More important than learning what to do
Is learning what not to do!!

Many a mistake, I've made
But immensely, they've helped
I am battle-hardened
And will go to bed
Knowing I've done enough
To handle the rough
Soon, will the smooth come
Again, only a matter of time
I repeat, many a mistake, I've made
But ultimately, I've learned
That's all that matters
Thank you for your patience!!
Poem on my mistakes and how I've progressed since.

A gem of a sister, you are
Technically though, my aunt you are
But that matters not
Kind to a fault
Sweet as gulab jamun
At times, a strict person
Possessing nerves of steel
Thoroughly trustworthy and dependable
A model wife and mother
On the whole, an extremely lovable character!

A gem of a sister, you are
Anybody and everybody, you care for
Immensely valuable, your counsel
Above all, very cool
Irrespective of the situation
Always thinking "I can!"
A bedrock for the entire family
And finally, rarely unhappy!!

A gem of a sister, you are
So lively, your children are
Of course, mischievous at times
Nevertheless, they bring happiness
Even in times of despair
Hence, bright will be your future!!

A gem of a sister, you are
Dear to me, forever
Well, hope we catch up soon
Do keep that adorable smile on!!
Dedicated to my very sweet cousin sister Barghavi.

Dear Roshni, many happy returns of the day
Hope you had a fabulous day
So happy to have you as a cousin
On the whole, a beautiful person!

Dear Roshni, many happy returns of the day
By nature, very lively
And blessed with oodles of talent
Your dancing is a sheer delight!!

Dear Roshni, many happy returns of the day
Your smile helps keep anxiety at bay
Playing games with you, loads of fun
Thanks to your sharp brain
You have a lot of potential
Come on, conquer them all!!

Dear Roshni, many happy returns of the day
May everything go your way
May you have a wonderful year ahead
To you, may the Lord always be kind
Hope to see you soon
Be the way you are, you amazing human!!
Poem dedicated to my cousin Roshni (actually more like my niece!!) for her 13th birthday today.

I thought you cared for me as a friend
To you, was I very kind
Always, did I support you
And guide and advise you
But I guess it was all for nothing
To you, was I nothing!

I thought you cared for me as a friend
To you though, never was I a friend
I told you about my condition
But you misunderstood my intention
I thought you loved my poems
How wrong I was!!

I thought you cared for me as a friend
Alas, to be true, was that too good
You don’t know the hurt you’ve caused
After all, you don’t understand
What it means, to be different
I didn’t deserve to be hurt
Just because of my ignorance
Especially considering my inherent goodness!!

I thought you cared for me as a friend
Well, our relationship should end
You are simply not worth my time
Because for me, you gave not a ****
From now on, to me are you nobody
Only then, can I again become happy
Goodbye and good luck with your life
I am moving on with my life
And hope we never meet again
Then, will I finally be free of pain!!
Dedicated to a person whom I thought was a good friend, but unfortunately wasn't, in reality. I am deliberately keeping the details confidential so that no issue arises on account of my poem.

So happy am I, that you came
We had a fantabulous time
Talking for hour after hour
Catching up with each other
Relishing piping hot Vada Pavs
Followed by Tiramisu jars
And last but not the least
The best Hot Chocolate!

So happy am I, that you came
Really made me beam
All sorts of topics, did we discuss
Cricket, tennis, work, politics
Music, food, travel, trains
All in all, had a blast
Half a day free of stress
And full of entertainment!!

So happy am I, that you came
After a long, long time
Well, hope we meet again fast
So I can give the promised treat
Until then, take care, dear brothers
Wish you oodles of love, success, happiness and peace!!
Dedicated to my extremely dear cousin brothers Anirudh and Aparajith; who visited us in Mumbai a few days ago.
Ashwin Kumar Jul 18
You are my coolest brother
Entertaining to the core
Often, you evoke laughs
An expert in picking unique movies
Hard to imagine having fun
When you are gone
Your presence lights up our day
Very rarely, are you unhappy!

You are my coolest brother
A quirky sense of humour
In Ravenclaw, you belong
Something's always happening
Whenever you're around
You're one of a kind!!

You are my coolest brother
Unlimited fun, have we had together
Especially in recent times
Starting from the pandemic years
The Senji Kottai Fort trek
The tour of Pulicat Lake
Dining at Flower Drum
You and your family are simply awesome!!

You are my coolest brother
Underneath your gung-** exterior
Lies a kind and caring interior
You make everybody feel better
Especially when there's a loss
Your soul, may God bless!!

You are my coolest brother
Be the way you are
Don't change for anyone
Hopefully, see you soon!!
Poem dedicated to Sachin, one of my dearest cousin brothers.

You Are The Best
Ashwin Kumar Jul 25
You are the best
Acing every single test
Your music, enchanting
Gets us dancing
So versatile, you are
Composing in many a genre
Incomparable, you are
To experiment, you dare
So much, you've achieved
So much, we've learned
Truly the Prince of Indian music
Proud I'm, to be a Harris maniac!

You are the best
Your uniqueness, hard to beat
Almost every melody, a lullaby
You make us feel happy
Whenever we're down in the dumps
Your BGMs give us goosebumps
Your soup songs, pure gold
Your music never gets old!!

You are the best
Those who call you a "copycat"
Are just jealous
Of your incredible success
Your music is here to stay
Come what may
In fact, your best is yet to come
You'll make us all beam
So, keep rocking and keep composing
May you live very very long!!
Dedicated to my favourite Indian music director, Harris Jayaraj.

I Am A Bit Unlucky
Ashwin Kumar Jun 10
I am a bit unlucky
Yes, not always can everybody be lucky
But misfortune has befallen me many a time
My marriage was a ball of slime
I have lost a few friends
Though my behaviour towards them was almost blameless
Many a time, I get credit not
Even if my work is nearly perfect
Due to my Asperger's Syndrome
I do not feel at home
During many a social interaction
Really, do I do my best, to make a good conversation
However, mistakes are inevitable
Because, perfection is impossible
My ignorance is not my fault
It is God's fault
Definitely, do I need some compensation
For each and every misfortune of mine
Struggling am I, to find love
Though there is a lot, that I can give
Being a divorced male is a big curse
In a society that has a huge bias
Against anyone who is "different"
However, I will fight
To overcome all my insecurities
And drive away all my demons
But I certainly need some luck
Otherwise, life will remain dark
Yes, I am a bit unlucky for sure
However, I will try my best to ensure
That this does not remain the case
Wrong, will I prove all my doubters
Rise will I, against all odds
For now, am I overthinking
But soon, will I be planning
To rise from the ashes, like a true phoenix
Yes, not at all easy, is achieving success
However, as mentioned earlier
I am a fighter
And soon, will the fight begin
For now though, I am alone
Again, I am a bit unlucky
But soon, will I be lucky!
This is a poem on how I have had a lot of bad luck in life and also about how I will fight against all odds to turn my bad luck into good luck.

— The End —
