Daily single boiled food
In one unshaped bowl
No other utensil is accepted
One old mug with broken holder
Left unused by children
is used to take liquids
When eat his food
No single grain is left
Cleaned as if washed

Wrap in single lower cloth
During all summers

Do most of his work
Without taking much help
No money he accepts for his help

Croons his prayers
to soften his old age pains

Wish to extend his life
For his son to give him time
to serve him
So that he should not have
guilt
Could not serve as he was mostly out for work
Live like a monk
is my father in law by luck

I was moving out with fast steps
As clock in shop was ticking
for close

I Stepped out to leave
"Mam"
I looked back
9 year old girl hiding behind
her mom
She was peeping and shying
I smiled and waved

Her younger brother
5 years old came running
and clung on me
Raised his hands and wrapped me
I lowered and embraced him
He was snuggling in my arms
I felt relaxed and floating
in pure love
"This hug sent me in meditation for a moment"

I found ash
To rub on my skin
To hide all my beauty skills
No other mask needed
to safe myself
No tension of world's speculations
Long dead locks touching
earth
To make these a blanket to
sleep or make a head lock

Reached on a tough rock high mountain with all my efforts
Alone and alone only my own

Live in a small mouthed cave
To find my share of piece of peace
Dead ash is rubbed on future ash
No matter looked ugly or bad

Leaving behind the residue
of lost
To cool down the burnt ashes

Returned to check
Is some warmth is left
In hope if left
Then  collect the residue left
To give again shape

Painful emotions
Mesmerise and hypnotize
Touch , cut and bleed

Surgery of brain to
remove painful memories
Of your loved ones

Every morning
Standing under stars and grey sky
Cool and fresh air ways
Sparrows chit chat and play
Old banyan tree watching
and smiling
Hanging roots ladder to
takes me to for morning sun rays
To take love and warmth for
earth
Keeps on spreading for every one on your way

I am underestimated
for my goodness
I am exploited for my
mildness
I am ignored for my softness
I am fool in the world of so called practical wise people

The moment I take turn back to goodness
It takes me in the world of
stranger deserted land

Unable to recall
Who am I?

Get disconnected to my soul
which is more fearful than above

I am good in this land
may be fool
may be impractical
may be left behind in the eyes of wise
But feel most blessed
I see my soul
Smiling at me
