Feeling rejected
Too stunned to even cry
My mouth parched and dry
Things that once were meaningful,
now matter not.
They are only clouds that hide the sun
A storm of doubt where once there was none.
I've experienced it second hand.
Looking on as some poor soul was it's victim.
Feeling some of their pain but it's nothing like first hand.
I fear tomorrow's anger.

i hide the cuts
and call it healing.
i smile enough
to look like feeling.

i bled to feel,
then felt too much.
so now i flinch
at even touch.

no big event,
no cry for aid.
just pain, then choice,
then steel, then blade.

the scars are thin,
but memory lingers.
i still see red
between my fingers.

they call it pain,
i call it mine.
i earned the blood,
i crossed the line.

"Possibility" shouldn’t be questioned
because anything and everything is possible.
Why else is there an “if” in “life”?
Think about it. You can achieve anything, you can believe anything, you can do anything
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

Lostling
Too bright, tears fell unbidden
Like leaves do in the winter
When the wind, disappointed, sighs

Too loud. I wished for silence,
For companionship, or nothing at all.
Yet this is no fairy tale

You told me
“Let me see your beautiful smile.
For me, please?”

Thus I hid my face
So you didn't have to see me cry
And so I didn't have to listen
A memory from last year
Glad I got that out =)

All the grief,
all the pain –
I accept it
with both hands,
for it was given
to me
by the one
I love
and so i crawl back again
even though
i promised not to return

the sun has melted my wings
and the blades of grass
marred my flesh

the earth turned its back on me
so i'm sorry
i'm sorry,
for once again,
here's my poetry.
poetry,  i'm sorry i ever left.
here is my heart,
here it is.
you are reading it.

"why do poets
have this courage?"

"what courage?"

"to be open."

"we were the caged.
we were the voiceless.
but now,
we are not.
don't let our courage make you believe
we have always been brave."
i love you all just wanna say this

When you' re close to me
The air is thick like honey
Denser than cement
Maybe it's the heat..

Through winters I long
For summers to come
And then they come
And I hate them
I'm always escaping
Never a part of the world
Through daytime I long
For the night's veil to fall
But it falls on me
Heavy like a rope net
I'm always waiting
Life always on hold

I had good intentions when I first found you
You seemed like the missing piece to my unsolved puzzle.
But time blurred the lines - the world grew loud,
And I left you on a shelf to gather dust.
I was chasing a dream, but I couldn’t make it in time. Now, as days, months, and years pass, it feels distant; almost foreign. I don’t know, to be honest. I’m just trying to figure things out.
