What do I do now when there's nothing worth sharing—no writing left in me anymore?

Society tells you to be yourself
Yet they judge you when you are yourself
Society tells you to be honest

Never let our society dictate what you have to become,
You are your own person.
Don't give a ****.

From young, we play--
Tiny hands, big dreams

Then they hand us books,
And say, study hard.
Why?
So we can work in the future.

Why work? To enjoy.
Then work more
To enjoy a little more.

A loop,
Endless and spinning

So I say good riddance!
I denounce this life and laugh in its face.
It has no meaning.
Not unless you give it one.

The world can give you a hundred reasons.
But none of them are yours

When I can’t write
And still I wish to.
Thinking all night
Hoping to see you.

Writer’s block isn’t for me.
But poked eyes, tonight I see.
Paper and pen, Keyboard and screen.

Your gentle and loving words

Into the mirror we gaze
